So let me commit this blasphemy. I thought this collection was whack! Take a moment to catch your breath.
I "get" what CHANEL embodies: the glamour, the excess, the elegance, the charmingly boyish femininity; I get it all. BUT, I'm bored with it now. This collection in particular looks like granny clothes (I realize that most Chanel customers are middle-aged, especially the couture clients).
I hated most of the silhouettes and found much of the collection frumpy. Essentially, I wanted something fresh and not so safe.
Anyway, these are the looks that didn't make me throw up.
