LBD [Willow]

Present temperatures aside, spring is finally here, and summer is surely on its way, so it's time to pack away the winter gear and break out those summer staples. Exhibit A is a dainty cotton dress by Australian designer Kit Willow. It's perfect for spring afternoon errands or late night summer  galavanting. Pair with colorful sandals for an easy and casual, but sexy summer look.

Oochie, Coochie, PUCCI! [Emilio Pucci Spring 2011]

Who knew hippies could be so sexy? From barely there crocheted swim suits to sheer slouchy tunics and embellished pants, Emilio Pucci's spring 2011 collection is overflowing with sex appeal, literally. Pucci was originally known for bold silk prints, but the house is rapidly becoming synonymous with ultra sexy, easy bohemian luxury thanks to creative director Peter Dundas.  This season, the necklines were plunging, and in typical Dundas fashion there was a lot of leg. But my favorite piece had to be the thigh high tan leather boots/sandals. It all looked so effortless, yet deliberate; put together, but never contrived or overdone.

BIG CHIPS [Louis Vuitton & Lanvin]

Play a hand of poker and your sure to look like a winner playing with any of these decks of cards. They are perfect as a gift for a house warming. However, at $85 and $105 they probably won't get much use, but they'll look great on a coffee table.

I SHOT The SHERIFF [DSQUARED2 Fall 2011]

Dean and Dan Caten take a trip out West for their fall 2011 women's and men's collections. From flannel and fur to tons of leather and even more fur, the Caten duo have outdone themselves. Sportswear has always been their specialty and this season is certainly no exception. The styling here is key. With this collection, they seem to have mastered balancing the drama of the runway show and the wearability of the clothes. The western theme was clear and cohesively presented, but it was hardly overwhelming. You were able to easily identify pieces and visualize them outside the context of the show and inside your closet and at the end of the day, that is precisely what needs to happen.

Shoe Swagger [Charlotte Olympia]

You may recognize this pair of suede platforms from the Sex in the City 2 movie. Worn by the infamous Mrs. Carrie Bradshaw Preston to world's gayest wedding ever, this shoe by British designer Charlotte Olympia updates the classic pump with a super high heel and bold, gold platform.

Throw It In the BAG [Spring]

As the season changes, it's time to start transitioning your fall looks to something more appropriate for spring. Downsize those luggage sized satchels from winter and replace them with something small and colorful. Opt for interesting textures and bold hardware to stand out and give your look some edge. Enjoy!
