Fashion guru extraordinaire Thierry Mugler has signed on to design and direct the costumes and visuals for Beyoncé's upcoming world tour. Queen B apparently fell in love with Mugler at the Costume Institute Gala where his work was featured as part of the super heroes exhibit. She was even able to get her hands on this vintage bustier for her promo shots. Mugler will be creating almost 60 looks for the tour, directing three performances and assisting with choreography and lighting. Thierry Mugler closed his couture house in 2003 but he is best known for his avant garde robot and insect inspired designs from the 80's and 90's and his extremely successful fragrance line.
